Common questions

How do I import a GPX route?

On the Map, open GPX Files and choose Import GPX File, or Import from URL to paste a link to one.

Can I ride without a signal?

Yes, if you prepare first. In Settings, under Downloaded Regions, choose Download a region to save the maps for an area. Or load a planned route, open More info and download the track map before you leave. During the ride, the downloaded coverage is used and the ride records without a network connection.

How do I get back to my start?

On a free ride, the Home bar shows the straight-line distance to your start, and Guide Home opens directions in the system maps app.

How do I choose my training level?

Choose Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced or Elite during onboarding. If your level is unset, Glood can suggest one after at least 20 rides longer than 500 metres.

Can I take my rides out of Glood?

Export a recorded outdoor activity as a GPX file through the share sheet, or export your activity files and saved routes together in a ZIP. With permission, recorded activities can also be exported to your phone’s health data.

Can I see my rides on the web?

Sign in on this website to look back at a recorded activity’s route and metrics.

Delete your account

An account-deletion request starts a 30-day grace period. After that, a daily job removes your rides, routes, files, profile, and sign-in.

In the app

Open the app’s account settings, choose Delete Account, and follow the confirmation steps.

On this website

  1. Sign in, then open Settings.
  2. In Danger Zone, choose Delete under Delete Account.
  3. Enter your account email in the confirmation dialog, then choose Delete My Account.

Cancel a pending deletion

During the 30-day grace period, open account settings in the app or Settings on this website and choose Restore Account. This cancels the deletion request.
